Thanks Peter!!! I knew more pictures from that rally were floating around, glad to see you still have them! From the posts in that rally I think that's where Dr Joe got the bug to trade up his 310 for Cliff's 345. Hard to believe that was 10 years ago, wow!

Actually, Dr.Joe had a rare 270, but was so impressed with the Cliff's 345 that he agreed to purchase it at that Rally.
I had a 79 28', which I completely restored and enjoyed for many years. Now I own Dennis's 1987 345, which is available now to the right person who appreciates a well kept 345.
This is the only picture I have of Dr. Joe's 270

Thanks for keeping me sorted out on Dr Joe's Airstreams. I just remember that he called the 270 "Big Girl" or something like that. Sorry to see you selling the 345, someone is going to get a very nice rig! I hope you stay with another Airstream or at least stay active in the forums, it would be a tragedy to see one of the founding members disappear into obscurity, who would keep the rest of us sorted?

Peter,

Are you looking to get a different Airstream motorhome?

Brad

I do have one picture of the interior of Dr. Joe's 270 ("Big Girl"). The 270 actually started my website! There was a 270 for sale back in 2000 on RV Trader with no pictures. I started collecting pictures of the various models so I would know what they looked like when one came up without pictures! The rest is history!

Brad, Thanx for asking! I will always own an Airstream, but what it will be, I do not know. I have a deep passion for the Classic Airstream Motorhome and can't hardly imagine not owning one. But as i get older, I have to realize certain physical limitations keeping these beauties in top condition.
My dilemma is that my 345 if parked in front of my shop at my house and that he is the greatest pleasure to look at. He also serves as a fine guest house and everyone who ever stayed there enjoyed it thoroughly, not to mention the quality time spent camping in it.
Can you see my attachment and why I just may not sell it to the wrong person..

Sorry about that Derek, I guess we're done here until you get those weights you were after and post them here for the rest of us...
