Question Amateur Radio MoHo

This is a wierd one - except to other Hams! I am putting an HF radio in my diesel '84 310LE for a trip to Newfoundland, and wonder what type(s) of antennas anyone has installed/used.

I use a Little TarheelII on my truck. Any good screwdrive antenna would be good.

OK - and Thanks for the suggestion. That's the way I was leaning anyway. I now own a Tarheel screwdriver model 200 - I'll let you know how it works from Newfoundland this summer.

I've been looking at a screw driver type antenna for a while. I've been wondering how best to mount one on my GMC truck with a hard lid tonneau cover.

Have fun on your trip.
