So where does the bench go when table installed?

I ended up going with just the dinette and getting the custom table and leg...I did not use the center section in the first photo. Looks nice with the oak finished to match the cabinets.

I have held off posting on the thread until the interior is 100% complete; but it's there now so here is a quart of interior squeezed into a pint (20ft) MH.

VW second row seats and a disconnectible steering wheel means the cab functions as both a cab and dual recliners, plus the driver side has a stop position facing the end of the kitchen counter so that can function as a desk. Passenger side has a wetroom (shower/basin/toilet)

Looking rearward from the passenger seat, we have the kitchen area (combo sink/burner) and waste bin both with glass lid to give around 7 1/2ft of counter surface (fridge, tankless water heater, furnace built under counter, but still allowing draw mounted toaster oven, pan draw, draw for utensils and plates etc). Still leaving a full double cupboard under the sink with shelves for cleaning kit etc. Two twin beds, driver side housing Magnum inverter, power distribution panel (for 12v and 110v/20amp inverter/generator, sub-panel for 30amp (shore), but also to store the 200watt portable Zamp). Nightstand houses the ducted air-conditioning/heater (we have both gas and electric heat), ducts run through the drivers side bed base and create a circulation inside the cab. This also means no roof air conditioning; that and the regular vent replaced with two Fantastic fans that can also run in opposite flows to create air flow.

There is also enough room in the nightstand to carry the EU2000i generator, which sits on a Low Pro bracket so only have to drop the external door and swing it out for use. The 'top' of the nightstand is also a double leaf pull out table (300lb load).

Passenger side twin base houses fresh water tank, water pumps etc, and some storage, but we also have a full height wardrobe between the passenger bed and the wetroom.

Pretty happy how the whole thing has turned out, and even if we were starting afresh now I dont think I would change anything.

Martin,

What a beautiful job! I'm probably only 15 minutes from you, and would love to see it in person. Give me a call whenever you have a spare moment.
I'm stalled out on my own project, and in need of a shot of inspiration!

Thanks for the comments guys, and Charly I will definitely be in-touch and bring our little Argosy around, could be a cool photo to have our 20ft and your 325 and 370 side by side!

Charly, are either operational at the moment? The Connecticut Unit of the WBCCI are rallying at Wompatuck SP this weekend - maybe we could gate crash?

Wow, incredible work! Did you do your interior end caps in aluminum yourself?

Unfortunately I can't claim any of the work as my own. The guys at Airstream New England basically put panels in from the current Airstream range for the interior skins. The original intention was pretty much to take a 16" Sport interior and install it, but apart from the skins, nothing would really fit so I ended up doing the layout and design and purchased better quality systems throughout - they did the install. In general you step inside, and it is like walking into a new Airstream trailer.

Hi Martin,

I just gassed up the 370 last night ($$$), and took it for a quick jaunt. I was half amazed that it ran at all since it's been sitting all winter. A little gate crashing might be fun! If it does die, at least it will happen in front of a sympathetic audience. LOL. Give me a call, and we can meet up somewhere.

Charly
