Air ride suspension P30 chasis

Does anybody know what size or part # air bag to order for rear air ride suspension? I,ve got a 1986 345 series, an have to replace both rear bags. I,d like to have new ones in my hands befor I remove old ones. An by chance is this an extensive task? I have a tag axle..Thanks RJ

Hey Dragon, take a look at this DIY that I did on my air bag replacement, and bushing replacement of the American Carrier Equipment system. This was on my 310, but think that you have the same carrier system with different control system.

Hello RJ i have posted and article on here with alot of part nos etc

when you have the new bags, airfittings and four new upper securing bolts, if you have any trouble getting over the top to the upper bolts, you can cut the rubber bags out then grind the rivnut fittings away carefully and whats left of the bag will drop away. I ended up removing the grey water tank, and wished i'd done it the way i just described . . . would have saved me hours of time

Hello, RJ - before you go into this any further, check that the problem really is the bags themselves. I saved myself untold $$ and work by discovering that the height control valve was leaking which let the bags empty out over an hour or two. Good luck.
