Adding Solar to your Classic Motorhome

Know there is a Solar thread on Airstream trailers, but considering that as Classic Motorhome owners, we may or may not be able to use all of the suggestions as trailer owners.
I'm looking at a serious upgrade in batteries, as well as flexible panels for roof. Probably will use mobile panels when dry camping.
Have found gopower.com online that's very helpful.
Anyone gone solar on their Classic?
Anyone found a different website?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We have two Kyocera 130's on ours with a Blue Sky 2000E controller and a pair of series 29 AGM's. We want to add two more series 29's and a whole-house inverter, but there is some confusion at the lottery office(seems they want me to BUY a ticket before they let me win...) so funds are not yet available. We have been really happy with ours over the last 6 years, and we boondock a lot. Had the installation done in Quartzsite, AZ at Discount Solar.

By virtue of good fortune, my Classic was purchased with a Xantrax Charger/Converter/Inverter. Have found a local shop to go over the unit to make sure all is good before I start with any other upgrades.

I'm talking with someone who has started farming where power isn't available. It's just chickens for now, but still, he needs chargers for electric fencing and such. Using HUMONGOUS 12v batteries, he's checking on where he purchased for any special deals.

Driving to Farm next weekend, I'll get a good close-up look at these batteries to determine if they will require mods to battery drawer.

If you had space, the 6V in-line system is supposed to be best(think golf cart). I have seen some 12V batteries that approach 1/4 cubic yard...LOTS of solar systems in the desert...8#)
