A 345 Sighting On TV

The other night I was up super late fixing some computers and the TV was on in the background. A cheesy walking cane commercial came on and I happened to be looking at the screen at the time.

In the middle of the ad, there was a scene of some old friends at a campsite, sitting around a campfire. It went by quickly, and I could barely see that there was an RV in the background, but all of a sudden My Airstream spidey sense kicked in and I thought, I need to rewind and see what kind of RV that was.

Sure enough, it was a 345! Here are a couple pics I took of the scene in the commercial:

Fun to see our babies in current situations on tv.
(I know there's a thread out there of Airstreams in shows and movies, but since this is new, I thought I'd post it here.)

This our future gents;

Crippled by mechanics fees and buying Keeler locks on Ebay; hours spent on our chairs in front of the computer sourcing parts, only to find our leg muscles have seized up or shrunk and can no longer support our weight. Bent over some gas stations counter, getting it up the wazoo feeding that 16,000 lb beast with a 454 up the Sierra Mountains; a transmission redo at the top and a brake job after we get down the other side.

It's a cane in all our futures, so support the Hurry Cane........and pray it too does't have AS build quality.

Mark, there is medication for AS spidey senses.....it's called Zyprexa.

One of my favorite shows, "Longmire", on Netflix has the deputy played by Katie Sackett buying and living in an Airstream Argosy.

And if you are interested, you can see the entire commercial here:

The magnificent 345 Classic appears at the 30 second mark.
