Boy, if my $300 dollar bid holds up, I'll have 56 and a half feet of Airstream/ Argosy for $1,300 USD........

I wonder if the shop doing the diesel conversion will charge me half price for the second one?

I'd just take the rest of the roof off and turn the back eight feet into a pick up Airstream.

Cheers
Sidekick Tony

If anyone is serious about going in for this, I would be happy to pay a contribution towards parting out etc. PM me if interested.

Same colour scheme as mine and even has the Indoor/Outdoor thermometer which was removed from my 250.....slider locks (check), steering wheel (check), any hub caps that are left (check), thermoeter (check), locker doors in blue (check), cockpit windows (check)......I could go on!

I think we have a shared responsibility towards saving these coach parts.....

I think it must have but something with a significant secondary branch to have kink the awning and the body part way down!

Or a second tree......

If you want perfection,to fix that dent in the mid roof is more difficult than repairing the end cap. That panel requires removal of all windows and the door. In addition, the awning tube and awning cover is toast (~1,200.- if you are so lucky to get a new shipped intact to your place).

Waste of time trying to fix that one, but a bigger waste if it isn't parted out!

If somebody buys it to part out I could use the front curb/pass side banana wrap. Mine is cracked and would like to find a replacement at a good price.

Bob,

Far be it from me to correct you for anything related to Airstream, BUT....
(since this may be my only chance, and strictly for the sake of accuracy), we only missed it by 4 MINUTES!!!!! AARRGGHHHH!!!
It was literally sold as I walked up to the office door!!!!

Thank God, because it's really the last thing that I needed hanging around my place for who knows how long.
And it was still a pretty nice day for a two hour drive! LOL!

Charly

IF it make you feel any better, you probably wouldn't have been able to buy unless you were an auto dealer. I didn't know you were going, or I could bought it for you online. (I have a auto dealer license)
