370le

At the storage yard where I keep my FC, there is a 370LE. The last year it was registered was 2013 based on the sticker on the license plate. I talked with the storage employee, the widow who owns it is looking to get rid of it, she is having trouble just maintaining the storage fees. I got permission to walk it yesterday, it is very rough. While the couch and chairs in the living area and driver and passenger chairs look salvageable, the rest (cabinets, flooring, dinette, etc...) looks like a complete gut job. Additionally, the motor is missing pieces. It is sitting level, tires are dry rotted but not completely flat. It needs pain on the outside, especially on driver side and what I can see on the roof. Based on the info at viewrvs.com, this is the last one made (I took a picture of the vin). This project is beyond my skill and monetary means, but maybe someone is interested.

Price

No I don't. I have not spoken to the owner. The storage yard employee did (in order to get permission for me to look around inside) and they told her that if I was interested to make an offer. She replied "About what are you looking for for it?" and they replied again "Make an offer". Based on what the storage employee told me before she called them, it is my belief that they don't know what they have (it was the husbands before he passed) and they are just looking to get rid of the monthly storage payment. All conjecture though.

Pics

Here are a few. Unfortunately, I did not take interior shots. I may get a chance to stop by again this week and can see if they will let me back in again. Additionally, these photos do not show off much of the bad paint on the drivers side.

IMHO, $5G's pays for a lot of repairs to get her road worthy to drive her back.

Did you ever find out what happened to the 360, Peter?

As for Bob.....he's a lost cause.; but hey, there are worse things in life to be addicted too.

Cheers
Tony

The first step in overcoming any addiction is to be understand you have a problem.

However, I don't think Bob will be able to overcome this particular addiction....
