Should have mine tomorrow. Probably better than the scroll line display telling the idiots what you really think!

RE: 370 LE start to finish

Hay Bob?
Pictures 3 shoes the right directional light going, did you turn off the other lights or is the left side not finished as far as running lights go? Then in Pic 5 with the backups it is showing the left side is also out again? Just curious if they are off or something else is wrong not yet running?

Mine came today. Sucks that they didn’t provide a connector between the controller and the light strip.

My trim is a little wider. I pulled the vinyl out and the light laid right in its place.

Dave, That's a CLASSIC look, no pun intended, how do you like the reverse light ? It's as if that light stick was made for our classics....I think all the guys should have one and putting them on the trailers would be a good idea as well....Regards, Bob. How about some pictures with it lite up???

It’s just plugged into my trailer connector right now. I’ll hardwire it and hook up the backup light next rainy day.

Looks awesome guys! Might pick me up one of those, hopefully they hold up well, the ones I see on lifted pickups tend to have lights out, which for LEDs just means cheap design

My OCD would 'require' that I rework the rear light to separate brakes and blinkers and fit amber lens so the blinkers match.

Just to add a bit of complexity, to really Americanize it, you'd need the turn signal to be sequential.

You guys have way too much money, and are bored.

Cheers

Thanks for the great idea Tony, I can get a sequential module and tap into the feed line. There is 1 wire for left, and one wire for right. That would look really cool....what do you think Dave ??? Regards, Bob

In this age of distracted and aggressive drivers, anything might help. Maybe all the way around that belt trim! The chasing rabbit lights running all the way around. Might get mistaken for a UFO!

Seriously though, if it wouldn’t have been for cameras and attention to detail, I would have had two disasters with idiots passing on the right as I was trying to change lanes.

One woman had to swerve and pulled off the road. Think she spilled her coffee in her lap. That was in [emoji1063] but NY plates.

We had a great last trip of the season to Cooperstown ! I always go camping with a buddy of mine a couple of weekends a year who worked for me for 5 years. He became a brand “X” dealer but we still enjoy each other’s company, The brand “X” company attributes his success to working with me.....imagine that...LOL. The weather for the last couple of outings has been outstanding ! The new docking lights worked as expected and the new LED light bar was a success. In a couple of weeks we’ll start pulling the 370LE’s tranny, engine, kitchen, rear end and dashboard out.....Oh boy !Click image for larger version

370 LE start to finish.....

Looks like nice time. Sounds like some ambitious projects for your winter. Cabinet referb, headliner, and floor covering are my planned projects for the 95. Along with an exterior cleanup and new graphics. Got a local body wrap graphics guy that says he can replicate the original design. Every time I talk about a flame design I get horrified responses about desecrating a classic icon.

Still thinking about the Duck Commander theme on the 94! Complete with cammo awnings. [emoji16]

Getting the 94 here from Boulder might wait until spring. It’s in a good place. Covered and a dry climate. Gotta get out there in a couple weeks and run it some. Try to figure out why I lost power to the transmission controller. Probably a side effect of unceremoniously ripping out a major rats nest of wires the PO created to isolate the batteries to eliminate a parasitic drain.

I cringe at the thought of tearing into the dash wiring on these things. A real mess there. Can’t believe how many things stopped working when I replaced a wiper switch.
