We spent 10 hours yesterday and ran about 140 of new steel line under the 370LE, all of the brake lines, fuel lines, and EVAPORATED lines have been replaced, the fuel tank is almost ready to be re-installed. The transmission shift linkage is now installed. I am starting on the computer install for the transmission. I hope to finish the fuel tank and reinstall the fresh water tank next weekend. We should be ready to start her up sometime in April and get a few road tests in. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

How did you get that frame so clean Bob? Did it come to you in that condition or did you clean it?

I promised myself that I would not order the “Grote” LED headlights until I put the grill back on, well the grill goes back on this weekend, so I will be ordering the lights ! I started to install the TPS to the carburetor only to find out that the Holley kit that I bought will not work on the motor craft Holley that’s on the 370 LE. So Saturday one of my customers is going to TIG up some new brackets for me so it will work. The new transmission shifts by computer and needs to see throttle angle, so this is not optional. Other than that we’re installing all new stainless/rubber clamps on all the new and old lines underneath. Going to start to insulate the rear floor above the fuel tank before that goes back in. I have also made progress on installing some of the electrical circuit for the new inverter. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

It looks like your existing electric choke module has some cracks in
it. You might want to check that out.

I will be interested in seeing how you mount the shift sensor.

TIG work on the choke/TPS brackets all done....4 hours, well worth it. A big shout out to my customer Greg “Datsun” at Clayton’s Autobahn Repair in Albany for working with me and fabricating the brackets I needed to make this project work. This is one of the reasons I won’t retire.....because of all of my contacts through the business! I stopped earlier in the day at Albany RV (RV One) and ordered the electric pedestal base for the dinette. They recently became an Airstream dealership and what a classy place it is. Special thanks to the Airstream specialist there (Tom Collins) he was more happy to meet me, says he has heard of me through the Grapevine, I wonder if that is good or bad ??? Go figure.....Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I have the new carburetor brackets all primed and painted.....the grille is back on, decided to paint it....a lot of angles, so I figure 3 tape jobs to get it right, in the pictures all of the bright work is taped off.....I should have one of the new outlets finished for the new inverter later tonight and will test it out. Will start insulating the floor this week before the fuel tank goes back in. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

First round of the grill work came out quite pleasing ! The second round was the finishing touch, now ready for the Grote headlights (LED) ! The carb is already, just waiting to install the choke thermostat.Click image for larger version
