I want to thank everyone for their sympathy. Although I spent the better part of the day on Wednesday in the shop crying, I did get some work done. I didn’t like the first go around with the battery tray, so I redid it. This set-up will work for my needs. I have one of my guys coming out tomorrow, got to start cranking.....engine mounts, hook up the air parking brake, shifter cable, and start mapping out the exhaust system. Nothing more certain in the world, than the loyalty and love a great dog rewards a great master.

Cheers with condolences

Trying to get back on schedule.....it’s tough. Removed the original tie rod ends due to age and being non-grease able. I will install Moog with grease fittings. We also replaced the engine mounts due to age and discovered that the right side was broken when we removed it ! Re-located the air parking brake and reinstalled the exhaust. I had to cut a 4 foot section out of each side to clear the larger transmission and I will install some temporary flex tubing until I can get the 370LE down to one of my customers shops to have 2 new front pipes bent up and installed. Removed all the crappy spray foam insulation that was installed between the rear frame and floor.....what a mess. All new cooler lines installed as well. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

I’m sorry for your loss Bob.
If you hadn’t loved him so much it wouldn’t hurt so much.
Took us 9 months to grieve our Moose, and my Girlfriend felt for most of that time that getting another Dog was somehow disrespectful to her memory. Then, one day we saw Latte, and fell for her.
Bottom line, is when you had a dog you loved and cared for, there is another that needs you.

Keyair, you put your finger right on the truth. When Bob is ready, I’m very sure another deserving dog will find him. A well-loved dog is hard to lose-we still morn ours, and it’s been years since we lost some of them. There are no replacements, but there are many deserving dogs out there. We recently lost two, but the other 4 are found all they can to reassure us. They have learned to be ‘lap magnets’ to help us deal with loss. Bob, just hang in there, and enjoy the memories.

I finished the install of the polished stainless exhaust tips as well as the new tie rod installation. Finished up the 4000 watt inverter install into the battery box bay. Although the 4000 watt could power one AC unit, I will not be using it for that. I will be installing an outlet near the front TV an outlet in the bedroom near the rear TV, the outlets will power the Direct TV receivers when dry camping, the third outlet will be above the kitchen counter to power the coffee maker. As long as I have my coffee and TCM I am all set. Next project is to find a dog.Click image for larger version

In your battery bank, looks like cabling runs out both ends of the bank. Is one end going to the inverter and the other end goes to the coach?

I've been lazy/distracted for a bit, so I have to go back some way, and look closely at all the fantastic work you have been doing...

One thing is for sure, Sir...

You are absolutely an inspiration for all of us, with your "No Holds barred approach" to everything you touch!

Now, back to my wrap project!

You are correct on the wiring, one end to the inverter and the other end to the interior of the 370LE, through the solenoid first. Regards, Bob

We spent 10 hours yesterday and ran about 140 of new steel line under the 370LE, all of the brake lines, fuel lines, and EVAPORATED lines have been replaced, the fuel tank is almost ready to be re-installed. The transmission shift linkage is now installed. I am starting on the computer install for the transmission. I hope to finish the fuel tank and reinstall the fresh water tank next weekend. We should be ready to start her up sometime in April and get a few road tests in. Regards, BobClick image for larger version

How did you get that frame so clean Bob? Did it come to you in that condition or did you clean it?
