Nice job on the plumbing. Looks like you were doing it the same way I did mine. Making up assemblies as much as possible on the work bench then putting the assemblies together in the MoHo in such a way you can get a crimping tool in position to crimp the ring. I really like the pex but, it can be very challenging working in the close quarters of these Airstreams. In the end I used a couple sharkbites to get into the really hard to reach areas. I used pex sold it coils and it was always a hassle because it wanted to retain that curve. If I did it again I think I would but the 10' sticks of pex. Keep up the good work! Love to follow your progress.

Funny you should say that....I bought the coils when I did the 325LE...except for going around the rear end of the motor home to the shower the bend of the coil was a problem.....I have been using the 10' since. Regards, Bob

Finishing up the plumbing to the new hot water heater today, just need one more 3/4" ball valve for the hot water by-pass system. I figured out the wiring necessary to complete the job...the 370LE did not have electric hot water when it came from the factory, so adding it requires a new 110 AC circuit and a new switch assembly. I will put the new switch in the same location as I did in the 325LE which is in the kitchen below the ceiling light switch. I am going to finish routing out the rest of the plumbing under the bed and start removing the right side wall assembly to replace the remaining PEX to the shower. I am almost ready to start the shower door install as well as the shower faucet replacement and polished brass hand held shower head. John, I will be ordering more 18" polished brass towel bars so if you still want some let me know....I have your factory AM/FM antenna as well.

I finished stripping out the rest of the plumbing to the shower.....time to rock and roll and get this done. I'm going to mount the steering box tonight and clean up.....made another $100.00 fitting list for lowe's tomorrow night. Still having trouble locating the front rotors and seals....I think I have been putting to much trust in the wrong guy....going to try a different more reliable source this week. Nice progress, and I am so envious of your fleet!

Looks like that shower fitting was leaking from behind.

Yes, definitely leaking....still have the shower seat to pull out yet...Hmmmm. have never pulled one out yet but the floor is so spongy I have to....spongy floor in front of the shower as well....this will be the last part I am taking apart for this year. Still having some difficulty finding the polished brass bathroom fixtures I want, got the shower, hand sprayer/bar assembly, bathroom sink faucet, pop up shower drain, still looking for the towel bars with square bases. Next years projects will include moving the front furnace to the rear and installing a new 42,000 surburban low profile furnace in the front and replacing the lower kitchen drawer that Airstream hacked up when they did the $23,000.00 (upgrade) ???? for the previous owner. Also going to remove the "CHEAP" wood flooring they installed both in the rear bed/bath area and front couch area with wall to wall navy blue carpeting with new rear hardwood flooring where the original was, requiring a compete gut job of the interior which is probably why my phase one work is taking so long...I am designing everything so that I can remove it at a later date. Next Saturday is a full blown day for the 370LE, we plan on re-installing the generator, steering box, front brake rotors/hubs, removing the valve covers for new gaskets, matching up some new radiator hoses to replace the crappy ones (universal) that are on there. Regards, Bob

I found all of the original style polished brass accessories that I need to complete the bathroom, sink faucet and drain assm., towel ring, 4 new towel bars, recessed medicine cabinet, hand shower, mixer valve, vacuum breaker, and door. I am going to increase the width opening of the shower door as I did in the 325LE by 4". The new door is the same one that I used in the 325LE so I expect no additional "DRAMA" in the installation. I have to remove the shower seat and probably replace the floor....feels real spongy. Hoping to get the generator re-installed this Saturday along with the valve covers, and steering box re-install.
