I noticed my drivers side rear air bag was leaking pretty bad around the bottom seal, so i made a few posts already, and ordered my front bags.. they should be here soon and ill get those installed..(they had gone flat too)...everything worked fine 4 months ago when i bought it , but i thought the rear ones would need to be replaced soon anyway. I cannot find the bag #'s off my old ones, must be worn off.. andy at inland was nice enough to find a replacement bag however his price quote was $449 per bag... which i think is really high, has anyone else changed the bags on the 345 or 310 maybe??? not sure if they are the same, and remembered the #'s... or able to read to the #'s on theirs???

That price is Airstream's price.
You have Carrier air bags, not the cheap ones made by Firestone.
The Fireston bags will not fit correctly.
I don't like the price either, but for us, we have to like it and lump it.
Actually the bags on there now are firestone i do know that for a fact. I guess they have been replaced somewhere else along the line. Sorry for making it sound as though you had them priced high, i realize its not inland that sets the prices.
For the price you can buy the Firestone's at you could replace them several times and still not spend as much as Airstream wants for Carrier bags. Our motorhome also had Firestone bags under it.

Ah, yes through that post i read about a few other moho's and all seemed to use the same bags, so i guess i will be placing an order either tonight or tomorrow thought the site howard reccomended... 126 a bag sounds a lot better , and since it had firestones on there now i dont see the problem. I would assume there is no difference b/w the years 90 and 89.

According to the Airstream factory Firestone air bags were used on serial number 9622 and lower.
Carrier air bags are used from serial number 9623 and newer.
Hmm... i wish howard lefkowitz was still active as he had a 1990 345 and used the firestone bags...but since the fact i have firestones on there now i believe i will give them a try, as they worked fine up until they developed a leak, and come with a warrentee. I simply dont have 900 plus labor if i cant install them myself when i can get the fires for 250 pretty much.
