345 Brake light switch

Does anyone know where the brake light switch is located on a 345? It must be a pressure type switch, as there is no brake light switch on the brake peddal assembly.
Thanks, Rob

I know that I have a switch attached to my brake pedal but it may only be for the cruise control/toad brake system. I'd take a good look at the master cylinder. (Easier said than done or I'd check it out myself)

Rob, I'll take a look tomorrow and see if I can locate mine. I have the chasis manual and maybe that will help.

Rob,

My 82 Excella has the switch on the pedal support housing, just above the cruise control switch.

Streamers,
Thanks for the help on this one. The switch IS the one above the cruise switch. On mine, I had tried to test that switch, and it seemed to do nothing. The reason for that was that it had failed inside. I don't know how my brake lights were working.
I now have a new "Made in America" switch, and it works great.
