310 windows seals and weep hole covers

Getting into it now.
I need to order some parts for the front sliding windows. I'm looking at Out of Doors Mart for parts and have them found them pretty helpful so far unlike some others.
They site is quite good ins showing what seals go where so I will get some 'fuzzy' seals etc. if needed. I see that all the windows on the MH have small slots at the bottom which concerned me as I think it will be pretty drafty yes?
I'm told that these are there to let the condensed water run out.
Can anyone tell me roughly how many small and large weep hole covers are needed on my 310 MH? I know that the front/side screens are missing all of them.
What's the best place to get them?

Hi Montreal, it's really odd about your thread. Was talking with Raveson at the Florida State WBCCI Rally. He's found the weep covers at Inland RV, they are all the same size as far as I know. As far as a count, just walk around your rig, counting all of the weep holes you have in each window, that's how many you'll need. In Florida, the sun bakes anything plastic though, so I'm hoping that someone will make one out of metal or aluminum at some point.
Thanks, Derek

Out-of-Doors Mart is awesome. They are the only dealer I really like to do business with.

Weep hole covers.

Be advised that the "large" weep hole covers are no longer available from Airstream.

Work however, is under way for a replacement.

I did the front windows on our 310 awhile back. Ordered the stuff from Inland, the lady who took my order knew exactly what I needed even though I did not, and was very helpful.

I've had good luck with Out of Doors mart as well. A few months back, I called and ordered the fuzzy stuff from another vendor. The sales person gave me a bunch of part numbers and asked which ones I needed. I had to look up the parts on line as we spoke to see what they were. This was before I read every post on this site about the front windows. Now I know that there are three(?) gaskets that are needed and not just the fuzzy stuff I ordered. It was a bit upsetting that the sales person, who we are all looking to to be the expert, didn't just tell me what was required since they sell a lot of these parts to a lot of us here on this site. So now I have to put in another order. I think I will get the parts from Out of Doors Mart as well. I have a suggestion for the vendors out there...we are looking to you to be the experts on what you sell and you should let us know what is needed for a particulate job, especially since your prices always seem to be out of the ball park. Just a suggestion if you want us to buy from you. My parts and material purchases alone are now about $13,000. I tend to buy from those that are the most helpful and sell at a reasonable price.

Montreal, I would love to know the part numbers from ODM if you wouldn't mind posting them!

Dean

Does anyone know the actual lengths of the small and large covers?
It seems a bit vague to me as I I have not look close up yet. I 'm not near my MH so cant walk around but will have to ask the mechanics to measure all the small and all the large ones missing.
Can anyone look over their 310 or 345 (I can keep any extras if they use more) and give me some numbers of the amount needed please. This would really help me out.

I'll measure them when I get to work, and post dimensions when I go to lunch.

There are two sizes and are very much different. The front windows each take 4 small and each of the slide rear windows take three of the larger covers. The front (driver and passenger) covers clip in, no tools needed. The other ones on the coach need to be riveted or I guess you could try to tap for a screw, but if you don,t have a pop-rivit gun, get one and save yourself many troubles in the future!

Larger weep hole covers (345) total needed 30 @ 2 1/2 inches length
Smaller weep hole covers total needed 8 @ 1 1/2 inches length

MH weep hole covers

This photo shows the backside of the two weep hole covers.

The small one measures 1 3/4 inches and the large one measures 2 5/8 inches.
