Good point, I can't remember if the Toyos were 12 ply or not. I prolly would not run top-of-the line Goodyears if I put low miles on since the sidewalls would self-trash before the tread wore out.

Just got the bottom line for six Goodyear 8R 19.5 F G647 RSS 12 ply tires, gasp! Tires, dismount, new valve stems, balance, mount, disposal fee and sales tax: $2900.00.
Yet, once I get the front end aligned, (hopefully no new super steers) I'll run over 60k on them. I view the cost like paying property taxes!

at the departure lounge at sfo, and another $3,000 in the hole for a 5 day vacation!!! Question for you CA people's. Am I allowed to travel through CA without the smog gear? It seems like there's a smog testing station on every corner in this part of the world.

You know I do, Michael. In fact, we've only been north for a month, and I'm getting antsy to get back on the road! Best to you and Tracy.

Good, they must be exercised. Otherwise they will be like AS mo/hos we've seen parked behind the barn with a blue tarp over them.
