Hi Richard...
It is different in germany with towing behind a car, truck, or RV..
For me is possible to tow up to 2000kg. I know a friend with an other 250,
hi has a license for 3000kg. But this I don't need. The trailer are 500kg and the VW
max 900kg. The single axel trailer is max 1800kg aloud.
If I go to England, I use the ferry,.... sorry, not the Schwimmwagen..
Next year I go there. There will be a big meeting for Amphibious vehicle.

You ask, I use the VW in the Water.?
I own the Schwimmwagen now for more than 20years, I take it to many meetings.
So in the Water I use it for hundreds of "Kilometer". I have it for use, not for display.

This year more times on different meetings, first our "Club-meeting"
at the River "Neckar"...
here some pics...

Meetingplace "Schlo▀hotel" ... but I use the 250

Hello
Reading this topic, I understand better now why "split window". The origin comes from your passion VW oldtimer!

I only learned by reading you a production airstream was made to the EU.
Thanks for these informations.
I am French, and not finding my happiness in EU, I decided to buy my Mohos USA. I found thanks to the announcements forum.

It should come in December.
For France, I have to find one that has more than 30 years, in order to register it in collection vehicle. otherwise, I can not certify to.

Let me know when you make a new decidrez meeting of airstream in EU, I'll come with pleasure, my oldtimer also vw (KG January 56)
A chance to cross the roads.
