Does it have a slider under or on the side of the drawer. My 87 34.5 has just doors under the couch. Some of the sliders like in the kitchen has a small lever on the track you move to pull the drawer out of the track.

Are there two bolts buried at back/sides of settee. Pull fabric back and you can see them. Undo them and ones underneath and the back and seat of settee can be removed to give access, at least that is how it works on my 1991 250 le.

The slides are screwed into the sides of the wide drawer, remove the screws (4) per side and slide the drawer away from the couch on the floor. Access can then be made to the aux. heater and doorbell....it's still a tight fit and be careful, the underside of the couch framework is very sharp. Regards, Bob
