ZigZagg, not a real tag, just a plastic one custom made. This will be my 'front' license plate, and only to be used for laughs, lol.
Thanks, Derek

I'm trying to post up the schematics but when the 'upload attachments' window opens and I attempt to browse files it redirects the page - somethings up - shoot me a pm with your email and I'll zap it off that way.

Cheers.

I have schematics for a 1991which might help. Things to check;

Are you dash lights coming up?
What is voltage in dash display before you turn her over; needs to be over 12v
Measure voltage on auto battery using test meter and check if you have a parasitic load and voltage is falling over days
Temporarily co-join you coach and auto batterie using the switch in the glove comp. if she turns over, you know your auto battery or connections are duff
Usually, these issues are caused by a poor ground or battery so use a wire brush to clean terminals and ground connections and then retry

This should help narrow down issues

Nick

Two obnoxious little drainers are the glovebox light (do you ever REALLY use it?...pull the bulb) and the vanity mirror light over the passenger seat. Also, when we disconnect our battery, reconnection lights up the radio, but if it's turned down, it ain't heard, but it's pulling...the voltage regulator under the front of the doghouse might be a culprit, and it's cheap...still, the battery wires from the poles to the solenoids DO get worn with sliding the drawer in and out...m

Ok, the 'switch-over' in the glovebox, has been disabled. The wiring behind battery tray is a complete mess. Nothing like the picture Raveson supplied with one of his posts (see below). I'll get pix tomorrow in the daylight to show what I'm up against.
The switches just inside the door have been disabled as well. Undercoach wiring from chassis to battery tray has several cut wires that I'm guessing go to the control panel beside the entry door. I'm gonna get this figured out soon. Just glad that there aren't any travel plans in the near future.
Thanks, Derek

Ok, so here goes.......
1st photo is back of battery tray for Raveson's 1989 Airstream Classic 345LE. Ya think that we'd have the same set-up, right? ummmm, not hardly.
Next 4 photos are of the back of my battery tray, instead of 2 (two) solenoids like Raveson, I have 1 (one) solenoid, and this 'fuse'???
Anyhow, thanks to all that have sent me schematics. Raveson, and 240ClassicMH. My Dad and brother both are here this weekend, between the 3 of us, I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe we'll get something figured out.
Thanks, Derek

Ok, here's my electric waste water valves. They are on the wall behind the toilet. Jeez, guess I should've listened to the other 'seasoned' Airstream Motorhome owners, huh? $2K a year is VERY optimistic when it comes to maintaining these great ol' beasts! lol.
Thanks, Derek

Derek,
Yeah, 2K is an optimistic aim, but that's not the point of owning one of these beauties...they are ours until we decide to, regretfully, pass them on...we are very close to passing ours on, and it's like a coronary to me...but my wife is more important...heart attacks are a dime a dozen, a great wife is priceless, and I have the best...ok, I might be a little biased, but I am correct in my judgement.m.

Understood, and level 9 thinking; our best to you both. We know where the coach is, if you need some help selling it, we'll be down in November.

Well, shoot!!!I turned our singer into a computer desk, but I now see perhaps a better use...I threw the barrel chairs away, as no one wanted them, and I think the tv stand might be claimed, but I haven't heard back, yet...I think Dad's Toy probably drank that last beer, so now I may have to depend on you for refreshment...Heiniken, hey? unbolting the chairs was a bit of a challenge as a one person venture, but I managed to avoid the grinder...m

Michael, thank you for the offer...if I'm still around in November, I will consider it...m
