Been hard at it on polish, but not making much headway. Still, gotten so I watch more YouTube than regular tv, found this SWEET GMC motorhome that had been completely frame-off restored.

They used these type of wiper arm replacements. Wondering, anyone know if they would work on Airstream/Argosy units?

Thanks, Derek

There's nothing easy about polishing!

Here is a thread on Airforums from 13 years ago where McNeon took that style of arm and retrofitted it to their coach. I actually have several of those arms but decided to just go with the original style.

I'm gonna try RockAuto and see what they look like. By the time I drive all the way over to East Hillsborough county (think Tampa) who knows if I'll find 2 shovel nose GM minivans. Never have cared for the way those wiper arms are stuck up in middle of windshield. Maybe it's just me, just the whole aesthetics of it all.

Oh well, I just created another item on my 'to-do' list. Ordered more G6 this week as well. Wish I could find me a rivet shaver, vintagetrailersupply doesn't have any, and doesn't say when they'll be getting any more.

I've been texting keyair, totally agree with him on ditching the center beltline molding. Think Airstream will look 100% better without, especially when it's all polished!

And you need one for each size of rivet!

I left mine in a bag at Brad's place if someone wants to borrow one to do a few and then return it?????? Not sure what the two way shipping costs would be.

ID:	275256 trim completely. No idea if anyone needs or is interested in any of the trim or end pieces.
Plans are to begin on Sunday. Anyone need anything? Just need reimbursement of shipping costs.

Thanks, Derek

If I didn't have to work, I'd be MUCH further ahead. Finally determined recently that retirement will have to wait until 2022, so am now going to get all of the projects completed, even the most minute ones. After seeing Keyair removing his center beltline during his polish, knew that at some point, that was exactly what I wanted.
Now that paint is removed, center beltline removal is next, along with rivets, then shaving of rivets.

After speaking to a Full-Timing couple I know, I'm contemplating getting Airstream complete on the inside and 'moving' in so I can begin work on my house to get it ready to place on market once values have stabilized in my area. Gives me a chance to see what all I need inside for Full-Timing myself. Oh, biggest reason for moving inside my Airstream while it's parked in my Driveway? Full-timers said even with 2 A/C's blasting, their monthly electric bill never exceeded $35.00!

Update

Have not heard from you in quite a while. You have embarked on quite a project!
Brave man!
We are moving closer to you, but not close enough to be of assistance. Will finally have room for Miss Magee (Prevost) on our property and space for guests.
Give me a call
