Update today from the mechanic-
A/C is working-someone who owned this before me had too many wires and fried the cable. Installed new cable.
Generator was serviced.
Stairs are now working.
Rear brakes replaced, rotors and calipers too.
8 new tires.
Bettered the screen door latch to stay hooked.
New 50amp outlet installed at the house!
As far as the low coolant light, he said someone had replaced the airstream tank with a secondary replacement tank with no sensor. Any thought on this? It's really annoying having that light on.
Still checking on belts and hoses and the electrical to the lighters and CB.
Left to do-
Need passenger rear hydraulic leveler repaired
Hitch and tow system
Reattach one set of blinds and make sure all are tight.
Awning
Drapes ordered from airstream
New water filter for system
New sliding window seals
Nutone Blender repair and new blender needed, find the central vac system
Clean that sucker inside and out!

low level light
Find the two leads (hopefully) near the tank. Once you have, either connect them to make the light go off or drill two holes in the tank at the need collant level and put through bolts with rubber washers so they don't leak and attach one lead to each. The level of the liquid will complete the circut and the the light will go off.

If the 7 to 9 that we get with our 310 is any indication then yes, you were probably lied too .

We pretty much always tow a trailer with Susan's Spitfire on it. I think the total weight of the trailer and car is probably about 3500 lbs. We also load the coach fairly well but we definitely don't over do it.

Really,
I never got below 6, and that was doing 80 across Oklahoma and Texas trying to get to Alburquerque.<sp
8 is about average.
10-12 ? I cannot think of a nice word to say.

We get 5-6, but we're towing and loaded for 4 seasons(9 months)...usually don't go over 55-60...working on the too much stuff thing, but there's something about antique and thrift stores...so-o-o many of them... ...kinda like flamingos...how many is too many?

OK fellow desert dwellers. I should have the 345 back soon. Question is-what can be stored permanently in the RV, or does everything have to come out because of our heat?

I consistently get 7 MPG, no matter where or how I drive. Never varies.

One thing I find interesting is the wide variances in mileage reported by various owners and it doesn't seem to matter which model they drive.
It seems the range is as low as 5+ to to as high as 10+ mpg (assuming 454 engine). Our 310 gets around 7mpg when pulling a 3500 lb trailer and somewhere around 9+ when not pulling the trailer. Our old Winnebago was a big square box and we were lucky to get 6 mpg with it. We did improved its mileage up to about 6 to almost 7 by adding a cold air intake. Not bad when you can spend $8 for a piece of tubing and improve your mileage by about 15%.
So is it the condition of the engine, driver, road/wind conditions or what?
Brad
