Wink 1984 310 Refurbish to former Glory

Thanks Mike, Someone will get to enjoy a lot of hours that I put in on the Silver Hornet. Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, atomic bombs and slow dancing. I hate not finishing what I start.

That's a shame, Mike, sorry to ehar it.

Well, be sure now to find another hobby to replace your Silver Hornet one, you don't want to sit around watching TV and fade into the sofa, do you?

See you down the road...

Hope all is well

Sorry to see your priorities have been changed. Hope things work out OK.

This just reinforces the fact that we must live every day to the fullest. We never know what tomorrow will bring. Like you, I get almost as much enjoyment, and satisfaction, from tinkering and updateing as I do while motoring on down the road. If you are now grounded, you are going to miss the people you meet at every stop, the tales they tell, and the road view from the drivers seat that changes every time, no matter how many times you have been down that route.

Good Luck
Dave

Thumbs up 1984 310 Refurbish to former Glory

Pat:

Thanks for your interest and your friendship. Hate that I can't complete the refurb on the Hornet. So close, yet far away. The last four trips have been without any problems, so smooth sailing for now. I suppose I'll just haunt the forum after we sell the Silver Hornet. I will have to get more stories written for the "At The Wheel" column in the nespaper in the future.
