1980 Classic Motorhome Wiper Bushings

I'm on the hunt for suitable wiper linkage bushings to replace my worn broken bushings on a 1980 Excella motorhome. Has anyone found a compatible bushing? The local parts stores all have the dorman "help" products but nothing similar to what Airstream used.

I do recall a thread outlining the fabrication of a new rod with spherical rod ends mainly due to the fact there is poor alignment between the motor and the wiper pivot and I believe on later models the motor was moved to the location of the wiper arm to solve this misalignment. For now I'm looking for a quick and easy as this method has lasted 37 years.

This should be what you need. http://www.amequipment.com/wp-conten...9/801-1037.pdf

My mistake, I thought you were looking for the pivot shaft bushing. AM Equip also has the arms but only ln standard lengths. I believe the are straight, they also only have plastic bushings. I fabricated my own using 1/2" square tubing and welding threaded inserts in each end and used spherical rod ends from a hardware supply. This way you can make the length adjustable.
