Wanting info on insulating

Hello everyone,

I'm thinking about buying a 1972 24' Argosy. I would like to have it as energy efficent as possible without going overboard.. Has anyone installed Reflectix 4'x 25' Foil Insulation and if so how has it performed? I like the fact that it's lightweight, reflective qualities and high r-value for its thickness. I would greatly appreciate anyones info on the subject.

I think that a lot of people on the forum have opted for foil insulation. If you do a search for foil insulation you get a ton of listings. Here are some that I am particularly familiar with (having started them) that might get you started:

By the way it should be obvious from the above that I think that foil insulation is one of the best ways to go for an Airstream.
