Tire Valve Extensions...Help and Advice

Hello...
I am a reluctant seller of my 1977 24' Argosy. For those interested, I have my YouTube video and over eighty photos posted that you can view in the classifieds.

However, in the meanwhile, I have an issue with the valve extensions that I am trying to solve with the rear duallys. The only valve extensions I can find are the ten inch variety, and mine are longer. I have read a few posts indicating these are always prone to leaks etc. which makes sense since that is a problem area for me.

What is the solution for those of you that have had simiolar problems? Do you know a source for longer extensions?

Any guidance appreciated...Best, JB

No extensions.

Hi, my solution was to use a dual foot tire gauge and a dual foot inflater. Extensions are one more place for a leak to happen.

I was told that Pacific Duallies wheel cover company out of Calf. Has a new type extention that will seal off if the come loose. I have not contacted them about it but, a fellow on another forum told me that they are available, if that is what you are looking for. They even have a 3 foot one for the spare tire.

You may want to consider the "Dully Valve" solution on this site: Borg Tire Supply

Found 'Em...

Thanks for the suggestions. I think both would have had good alternatives. As it turns out, I was able to find the 13" extensions that I needed for my rear duals locally at San Diego Trailer Supply.
