I don't know anything about the Airstream motorhomes, but the aftermarket industry provides throttle cables for hotrods, kit cars, and such. You might try: Lokar Throttle Cable Bracket & Spring- Juliano's Hot Rod Parts & Interior Products

Autozone seems to have one and all types of throttle related parts.

I have used Lokar throttle cables and related parts on street rods that I have built for years. Always good stuff.

on a road side emer. I used a uni. choke cable core and 2 cable ends . on a old chevy van worked great till I sold it no new cable was avliable at that time
