Short term paint touch-up

We have just gotten 1975 26' Argosy Motorhome. Because we are still underway with a 1965 Airstream restoration, we do not want to fully repaint our Argosy for a year or two. One panel which was previously repainted and the two galvanized end-caps need to be spruced up to pass for OK for a few years. What color would match the original off-white. Also, we will obviously also repaint the brown eventually: what color would match original? Any recommendations for where to source the paint?

Thanks!

I have done temporary touch-up on our Argosy with Krylon Ivory spray paint. Matches exactly. I did it two years ago and it still looks good, not in a hurry to have it repainted anymore. I did sand the surface with 1500 and then 3000 grit sandpaper first. I don't know about the brown, we don't have it on ours.

Once you get the end caps cleaned up you can (if you can take a sample of the color) have home depot tint a quart of rustoleum enamal and use a smooth roller. The paint will level smooth enough to look great and can be wet sanded later after curing. A paint shop recommended it after they tried it on equipment they had, rather than spraying enamal.

You can likely pull off something like the water heater, battery, or refrigerator access door to have it color-matched.

I should do that - got a spot or two that's flaking on ours...
