Yep, the motors are still available. If Manouch decides it needs to be replaced I can post a link to a replacement online.

Are the LED headlights installed yet?!

It’s been 2 months since my last post, needless to say we’ve been busy!! Since our heater core went at our initial test drive, I just figured I’d find one on the way home.. YA RIGHT!! [emoji23][emoji23]. En route after Kentucky the weather had changed and it was FREEZING.. we stopped to get a 12v heater. Which we used as a defroster.. oh. Did I happen to mention we has a lot of problems with the driver side wiper.. kept getting stuck.. here my husband, Nooch driving in a snowstorm, on the highway with only a bit of a peephole from the 12v defroster.. he kept pulling over to fix wiper, it kept getting stuck.. .. I became the co-piolet.. #staytuned Click image for larger version

Good Luck charms?! Depends if one thinks like a pessimist or an optimist..

I’m surprised I didn’t throw them out the window after the 2nd freezing-sleepless night.

Again, I thank you for being my co-pilot and keeping me sane...

I wonder if you ever said “we will probably laugh about this one day”..🤦🏼*♀️

Sane is a relative term

I'm not sure I've ever uttered those words. However, it would be nice if they end up being true!

It’s been A LONG TIME!! I dedicated my summer to Rosie- Polishing and working on the gauge panel at our summer cottage. We took out the gauges and I designed and etched new faceplates to spec on aluminum.. A pure Love hate Relationship with this! Here’s the panel..Click image for larger version

I'm late to the game, but what was the FB group called?

Its the Airstream Argosy Owners FB group, quite a few motorhome owners on it, but still 95% trailers.

The emphasis being Argosy, and the Airstream part being added because there is a continual/repetitive discussion where Argosy owners think they own an Airstream, because the little badge on the side says Argosy by Airstream.

Better look at the new aluminum faceplates for the gauges. For the bezel, we used the rivets from Vintage Airstream Supply. Click image for larger version

Argosy, as does the RVIA plate....no mention of the word Airstream apart from the little round badge near the door. That says Argosy by Airstream not Airstream Argosy.

The words Airstream never appeared on the RVIA plate until 1979.

The various RMV/DMV will list anything the owner claims so what is on a title doesn't matter much.

Rosie’s been on break for a while, since winter began, spent my summer polishing the gal. Not nearly finished, but decided, last minute, to surprise my mom, who just had surgery, in Boynton Beach for Christmas ! Click image for larger version

By midnight, still driving, we were losing power..After some testing hub figured out, the alternator we had put on in April, when we picked Rosie up, was the problem. Thankfully, we found a Auto Zone that was open 24 hrs along route 95. We parked in a truck stop for the night, closed the curtains and closed our eyes for a few waiting for daylight. Hub installed, we got a jump and off we went. (notice where I couldn’t reach when polishing?!) Click image for larger version

Glad you made it ok. Any problems with the batteries after you swapped out the alternator?
