Replace Steps - Suggestions

We bought our 24' motorhome with no steps; the previous owner ripped them off by forgetting they were down. They were mangled. We really need to get proper steps, so any suggestions are welcomed. (Right now, we have a big folding step, quick fix.) The part on the frame is still there. Everything else was toast. As always, I thank y'all in advance.

HAVE you looked at the online catalogs?
PPL has a large selection.

Elisa, I replace my bent steps with electric steps from Pplmotorhomes.

It was not a direct bolt in replacement on my 74 due to the shape of the entry step inside. I believe the 77 is more like the newer Classics so an electric step while not a direct replacement it's pretty close.

Here's a link to the Kwikee double step that I installed in an 84 310. I think the 84 310 is probably similar to how the 77 Argosy is setup.

Elisa, I looked at Peanut last night (1977 20' Argosy) and in order to fit the same electric steps that I installed on my Argosy and on a 310 there is a 1"x2" section of steel tubing that would need to be removed. Any competent welding/fabrication shop should be able to remove it with minimal effort.

At that point it wouldn't take a whole lot of effort to install the electric steps. The job would require some metal fabrication and possibly welding but not a great deal.
