Project 24' Argosy in Central CA..
Ok.. So someone in the central valley (of CA) is selling a '76 Argosy (24') model with twin couches (rear bath model).. He claims the engine/chassis has about 100k miles on it (WAG?), needs new tires & battery. I asked when it was run last and he indicated that the current fuel in it is ~5 years old (or 6) and that it was checked out by a local shop care of another prospective buyer and that guy suggested not running it with that fuel until the tank is cleaned. Anyway, the seller is REALLY motivated to get rid of it and is offering it for $700.. (Yes, $700 NOT $7000!)
Anyway, I'm not sure I'm up for that sort of project but perhaps someone else is. I can provide contact info via IM if you like and are interested.
P.S. The guy didn't have any photos available but indicated only cosmetic changes are needed -- YMMV!
