Hi Peter,

You are correct, the two windows are definitely different, however a few weeks ago I did some measuring and the difference seems to be the galvanized cap drops lower for the single rear window units than it does for units with the pano windows. In other words the bottom edges of the cap will probably need to be trimmed to allow room for the pano windows. I'll take some more measurements this week to verify what I think is the case.

Stay tuned......

Brad

Peanut is now sporting two new patches in the rear cap

With the changes Martin is making to Peanut's interior the rear vent fan and vent stack openings needed to go away. So after lunch I tackled the patch work.

Other than shaving the rivets the patches are done.

Something you normally don't get to see is just how good (or bad) the patches are after installation. However since the inner rear cap has been removed this was a good opportunity to see how I did.

Ernie should finish painting the rear cap and lower belt line sometime this week and I'll get the air conditioner installed during that time frame as well. Then it's time to move Peanut back outside

Peanut is sporting new colors

The lower belt line and front cap are done and the rear cap needs one more coat. The roof has been painted with two coats of Henry's Environ White Roof Coating but there is enough left for one more coat so I'm having Ernie apply the third coat.

Possibly this coming Sunday Peanut will be backed out of the shop for the next phase.

He is looking great Brad

Just want to say I really appreciate the use of your workshop during the process, but most of all the time and effort you have spent both on Peanut and keeping Ernie on track!

I can't wait to get him to UK, so that I can start work on the interior. However I am a little worried as to the color scheme Denise has her eye on!
