New....need Help

Hi

I Just Bought A 1974 26' Argosy With 44,000 Miles On The 454.
This Unit Belonged To A Disabled Gentleman Who Kept It In The
Barn And Has Not Used It In 9 Years. With New Wires And Some
Odds And Eds It Runs Pretty Good. Had The Front Calipers Turned
And New Pads, Backs Required New Wheel Cylinders And A Line.
Just Started Cleaning It Up...stove Works, Oven Replaced By
Microwave, Lp/ac Refrigerator Replaced With Small Electric. Have
Not Checked Water System, Heater,or Water Heater . The Roof
Air Works And Blows Cold But Is Dripping Water......is This A Roof
Job Where I Need To Clean Coils And Possibly Drip Tray Drain?????

It Has Two New Batteries But Dc Electric System Only Works When
Ignition Is On.....this Tells Me It Is Using Starting Battery And Not
House Battery. The Inverter Is Humming Not That I Replaced The
50 Amp Fuse.....where Do I Go Next. Generator Works And Run Air But Not Interior Lights, Fans Etc.unless Ignition Is On.

Windows All Need To Be Resealed And New Rubber/felt Etc. Not
Sure How To Approach. Any Advice Would Be Greatly Appreciated
And Any Advice To Get Repair Manuals, Etc.....nothing Came With
Motor Home. Thanks, Don

hello DONP ,I would add to your list of repairs to include front brake hoses.
sounds like you have the rest covered .Those hoses rot from the inside out
and close up inside ,the fluid pressures thru the obstuction of rubber ,but then cannot release the calipar ,so it drags the brakes on the rotor .
many here can help you with your Argosy.
