The snow is gone and the teardown continues. The scrap metal lady (who's about 75 years old) is very happy every time she comes here. Wait till she gets the generator!

Thanks!

I never ran it because I never put enough fuel in the tank to do so. Most motorhome generators are set up so they won't run the main fuel tank dry so they run out of gas about 1/4 tank. The PO told me it ran and worked just fine. It's a 1 cylinder Kohler 4K and I have an Onan 2 cylinder 5K that's going back in runnung on Propane as the new chassis is diesel and I'd rather have a low RPM 2 cylinder than a 1 cylinder lawn mower engine generator. I wasn't sure if you can get a propane conversion kit for that old of a generator and I already had the Onan... Yours if you want it but it's probably not worth shipping to KY.

I have to move across the country due to the economy and I have the shell available to whoever comes and gets it here in Vancouver, WA. I'd like to get a little money out of it but I know how times are for people. I won't be at a computer until the middle of April so send me a PM and let me know when you can come get it and maybe an offer?

It's still on the P60 chassis with drivetrain installed and will not run but it will roll. All windows are still installed and all of the interior skin is removed but I still have it. Would have to be towed or transported via flatbed.

I also have the running 32 passenger diesel Cummins bus (The future chassis) for sale for $5K.

Best of luck to everyone here, I'm going to Texas for a couple of weeks to camp in my Overlander, ride some mud on my 4 wheeler and forget about life for a while....

Larry,

Really sorry to hear about your having to move and not being able to finish the Argos project. Times are definitely tough right now and I hope everything works out for you down the road.

I wish I was closer to Washington, I'd take the Argosy off your hands.

Oh well.

Good luck to you.

Brad

Yeah, it kind of sucks. I hate to scrap it but if i don't get any interested takers I have no choice. There are alot of good parts there, mouldings, trim, dash, etc. The clock is ticking.........

Did it go for junk metal price or did you find someone to take the project forward?
