Most insulating/ warm flooring to instal (motorhome)

I have read all the floor threads and i think I have more options/ confusion now, than I did before I started researching the forum.

Leaving the MoHo parked in the snowy Colorado mountains this winter for weekend stays when we go up to ski and snowboard.

We are looking for any and every insulating option/ recommendation you all have to offer, so we don’t freeze, including flooring.

I ripped up the old carpet and we are down to the plywood floors. Now where to start and what to pick!?

We have a big dog, will be dragging
our snowboards and mountain bikes in and out, and we like to get dirty. With that said, needs to be durable, easy to clean, and most importantly warm!

Again, if anyone has ANY winter living so we don’t freeze recommendations besides flooring, we are all ears.

Want to note, we have a brand new suburban heater and will be plugged in.

Many thanks! [emoji558][emoji961][emoji473][emoji1394]*♀️❄️☃️

Rubber flooring deserves a look, though the price could be heart stopping. Commercial grade rubber and marmoleum flooring is thicker and that alone makes them warmer.

Get carpet runners or washable area rugs that you can afford to replace every year or two for real bare foot comfort. Yoga mats are impressively nice on the feet too.

Cork is the best. But maybe not for your situation.

My folks simply replaced the carpet every year in theirs. Plenty of industrial types that would work for you.

If you have the head room to spare you could put an inch of rigid foam insulation over your existing plywood then cover that with another layer of plywood the a durable hard floor like the laminates. An R value of 5 is a lot when you have almost no insulation to start with.
As a side note, I really like the warm feel of wall to wall carpet when I get up in the middle of the night for a necessary trip to the bathroom but , I doubt it has any real R value.

I just had new carpet installed and used pile and stick roofing materiel on the wood to insulate and sound proof. That's what the hot rod shop used. If I ever get my captain chairs back I'll see/hear how it does.
