I ripped out my old (original) Univolt today since it was putting out 18-19 volts of DC power. I am replacing it with a Progressive Dynamics 45 watt charger.
The Univolt was screwed down to a 1/4 plywood board. The plywood was screwed down with a single screw in the front. Since the screw head was shot, my trusty reciprocating saw with a demolition blade made easy work of it.
Behind the Univolt was the other part of the rodent nest that started behind my wheel well.
The 28 pounds represents roughly 4 gallons of water. Those 28 pounds might increase my gas mileage from 9.05 MPG to 9.1 MPG!
