Looking for an Argosy motorhome for sale

Hi everyone.

We have an Argosy 24 and we're looking for a second one Does anyone know of any Argosy's for sale or might be for sale? We've checked Craig's list and just missed a humdinger by a couple of days!

We'd be really grateful to hear of any that you know of...

Many thanks
Chris and Beverly

That one looks to be a wee bit over priced, don't ya think? I could see it staying in the classifieds for a while.

I don't think I'd want to drive that thing anywhere. First time you had to come to a high speed stop that tub would send the driver through the windshield.

I just noticed that there is no toilet in there either. Some of you may be able to get away with that but not me! I also noticed in the one picture that's taken above the engine cover looking back, the kitchen counters have been removed to make it look roomier. Im still trying to figure out how they got a price of 37k.

txtwin, I've noticed that as well. Its been in the classifieds here for a while too. Sometimes people forget that you can pour as much money into something as you want but at the end of the day it is still worth what its worth. Unfortunately Argosys arent big ticket items. Maybe this one will actually sell and one of us could ask $50k for ours

Unfortunately (in many cases) people assume that their style ideas add value, rather than being something they do to personalize and make it more suited to their specific purpose.

I had a round of communications with a guy selling a 'modernized' 20ft'er, it was modernized totally to his taste, and adapted to his use, and to me was worth less than a blank canvas because I would have to spend money removing the stuff he had installed, not worth more than a good running unit because of what he has done.

One of the first challenges we had in our rebuild was coming to terms that we would see very little of cost of the mods returned in increase value.

First trick in flipping a house.....decide the market you are selling to, and make it more sell-able to that market, anything else is money you will never see back.

Yeah, I've seen that one for sale for a very long time. Sadly, pretty much useless as an actual motor home. And, without a toilet.. Pretty much useless for housing guests too.. Wonder what the owner actually used it for?? I go like the stripped exterior though.
