LED replacements for the aisle lights?
Anyone know of a source for LED replacements for the aisle lights?
I'd like the keep the original look of the unit but switch to LED.
Yes, I could buy bulbs but the original lights are pretty corroded at this point. I know I saw LED versions somewhere but I cannot find it now.

Nevermind. I win the dumb question of the day award.
The unit I was looking at actually has an LED bulb. It was just buried down in the text and not in the title.

Not a dump question. I need a bunch of these also and your link made it easy. Especially love the LED. Thanks.

ViewRVs did you ever install these isle lights.
I purchased some after reading this post.
When I received them I questioned whether or not they are led. The illumination looks like incandescent light. When I check them with an ohm meter they read 0 resistance. When I check my other led bulbs they read infinite resistance. Naturally when you check a good incandescent bulb it will show 0 resistance. The only way I see to be sure is to cut one open and see what's inside.

I have not ordered them yet. They are still sitting in my wish list.
Interesting because the package never says LED lights yet the description does say LED. I did ask a question on Amazon.

As I suspected, these lights are not LED. Now lets see what Amazon has to say.

Sorry if I steered you wrong! Amazon ad says LED! I have not bought mine yet.
Here is one that says LED and the reviews mention LED.

Found some LED bulbs that work in the aisle fixtures. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121695282248...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The fixtures that I bought on Amazon noted in previous posts did not have a ground wire. I found that the copper ring used to crimp 1/2" PEX was a perfect fit on the base of the socket. I just stripped a piece of #16 wire and placed it on the socket and trapped the ring onto the socket with a small hammer. It created a nice friction fit, I added a little solder just to be safe. It took a few minutes to add the ground wire but, once that was done they snapped right into the original hole and matched the original perfectly.
I replaced all 6 of the outside storage compartments as well. The origionals in the compartment had smaller bulb (the base size). I was a little disappointed to find that the LED's used more power than the smaller incandescent bulbs. (2.2 amps vs. 1.7 amps) but, they are considerably brighter. I did not get an accurate before and after on the aisle lights since they were not working to begin with.
It was a simple and inexpensive fix, took about 4 hours to replace all 9 fixtures.
