I Have A Question ???? '75 ARGOSY

I found a 1975 Argosy motorhome 26 footer, I called the owner last night about it ,in telling me about it he said that it has a electric range called a (Mariner) and a ac/dc fridge (110AC/12DC) and said they are the orginal equipment. Did Argosy offer these opitions ??????

I have a factory Argosy MH brochure from either '75 or '76 (No date on the brochure) and it shows no such option for an electric range. I think the fridge is probably correct, however. . .

I am pretty sure the gas ranges were the item in those models.

It is possible that it was A) custom ordered or B) the Dealer made the change for the orginal owner. I have seen several units over the years that had "out of place" items like electric stoves or 110volt low consumption fridges in them. From the sounds of it I would guess that someone was either very afraid of LP or allergic to the smell of it. What type of furnace does it have?

Well I went and looked at the motorhome today, well as far as I can see the stove is what it was sold with and the same with the fridge, but it did have a propane furnance and a propane water heater. The owner had all the manuals for the stove and the fridge.
Now as far as the rest of the unit goes ,it is a fixer upper. man said water lines need fixed ,needs carpet, dash is in bad shape and some of the wood work needs redone ,the outside will need painted but it is stright ,but the one thing that I am woundering about is the front wind shields are start to delaminated or get smokey looking a little, what would it take to replace them?

PS: It did have good tires and the guy was real nice to talk to!!!!
