Hello To All Argosy MoHo owners!!!

Hello to all in the Argosy/Airstream world From Lynnwood, WA.

I just bought a 1977 24' argosy motorhome. It needs much, but the engine and drive train are great. Currently i really need an owners manual and a service manual. In the process of stripping all the paint in preparation for a paint job eventually. Was going to try to polish the aluminum but the mixture of galvanized steel and aluminum has changed my mind. Anyway I really need a door gasket to at least seal the entry way. Also I would like to know what model this moho is. It has 4 windows on the driver's side. 1 is partially covered by the fridge/ mirowave tower, 1 is obscured by the front bath/shower. On the passenger side 1 is covered by the rear bedroom closet. Is this normal? Why have a window then obscure from the inside with structures? Here are a few pics.
Hope to get lots of help from this community, I will sure need it.

Cheers
Keith

Welcome. I was new as of March and everyone has been so kind in responding to all my questions. I'm a nubie so I can't help much. But someone will answer.

By the way. It looks like you have a converted Argosy MH that was a transporter - like some type of bus service. Whoever bought it before you must have done the additions by themselves. Because nothing I've seen on this list serve indicates that Airstream would have ever blocked any of their windows with any furniture.

You're right. It's a former shuttle. Wow!! Anyway I have a new discovery. There looks to be an air compresor on the driver's side inside the front hood area. It seems to also have a small air tank mounted over on the passenger side under the hood as well. Anyone know what it's for? I have a service manual on the way but I'm already crawling around under/over/around it making all sorts of discoveries.
Thanks for the help folks!!

My AS MH has air ride bags on the suspension. Crawl underneath & look inside the front springs & behind the rear axle.

That overhead sign will be lots of fun!
I can imagine all sorts of 'messages' during travels.
That would really get abused by me.

Spent at least two days under mine looking and trying to understand all the marvels under there.

You basicly have an early Airstream MH, or the rest of us have late model Argosys.
So many items will cross over, ideas included.

More photos please.

Cool looking acess door!
Is that a window popped out?

Great lookng Argosy motorhome

Another one saved for posterity!
Would love to see some interior pictures. Check with Airstream Inc directly on their website for manuals for your rig. Reproductions are printed through Secretarial Services for maybe $60 each. For free you can go to Airstream Services website where they have rececntly uploaded floorplans, brochures of Argosy and Airstream motorhome and trailers including what they called Bus floorplans. For free you can also check out Andy at Inland RV's list of parts with pixs of many moho bits.
They are a great resource as are the people here on the Forums.Oh yeah asking questions is also free.
Silver Steve
Have fun!
