Fridge door gasket

Hi all, I imported a 20ft Argosy Motorhome last year from Virginia, I am nearly ready to roll ( just waiting for my new registration to arrive ) however I do need a Fridge door seal ( Gasket ) for a Dometic RM46d, can anyone point me in the right direction ? Thanks Phil

If I were you, I would search the internet for a manual for the fridge and it should have a parts list. I know for my Norcold it has a parts list, troubleshooting guide, and wiring diagrams in it. When I needed parts for it, I looked them up in the parts list and went straight to ebay. If I tried searching, for example, "Norcold 6062 eyebrow board" I would have little to no luck. If I used the part number I would get handfuls of hits.

Best of luck!

Mcmaster.com has some generic magnetic gaskets that might work.

Yet another nail in the coffin of the gas-absorption fridge industry. YOU CAN NOT BUY GASKETS ONLY .........

..........but get ready for this..........you have to buy replacement doors instead!!!!!

And some wonder why I have such a dislike for the RV fridge makers.

Well Lewster did you look at the generic ones that I posted above to see if any of them will work? You know more about this than I do. I am waiting for my fridge to die so I can replace it.

Hi Phil, we've just bought a 454 Argosy 24 and need to sort our Dometic fridge/freezer door gaskets too, so would be really interested in any solutions you find. If we get an answer I'll let you know... We're taking 'Harvey the RV' out for our first trip later this week - fingers crossed all will go well

Hi, great to get in touch with another Argosy here in UK.This forum would not let me past the sign in page , but finally made it.You can email me on philip.taylor26@btopenworld.com In the end I just got a seal from a larger fridge & butcherd it , then glued it on. Have been out & about in it now & it gets a lot of attention.
