Exclamation Diesel?????

Thought some of you Argosy people would want to know that you might have a diesel conversion rig in you midst. I don't know much about it.......read post no 6.

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f37/...-156679-2.html

Cheers
Tony

PS On further delving it would seem a couple people know of its existence but have decided to keep this info close at hand, for nefarious reasons I suspect. If I were the owner of this Cummins powered Argosy, I'd be chaining the rear axle to something like a really big tree.

Tony, I've known about this Argosy for quite some time

You must have way to much time on your hands if you're browsing the trailer side of the Forums

I'd like to say I "stumbled" across it, but I know when I'm busted hanging out with the trailer _____. Somebody has to talk some sense into them.

Seriously though, a factory conversion Cummins/Allison powered Argosy? Has to be a one off; if not, it's still bloody rare as hens teeth.

That first gen Cummins has to be quite loud, that's for sure, rattling a foot away.

I'd be proud to own that, that's for sure.

Cheers
Tony

Was it a factory conversion?

I think you have diesel in your veins instead of blood
