Decoding Argosy 24' RV VIN

Sorry if this is revisiting an old topic, but I need to decode my 24 foot Argosy motor home VIN's so that I get the correct break caliper repair kits and other parts.
VIN's are;
Chassis. M26T5V504G
Motor home. CPL375V301392
Any help anyone can provide will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Andrew

You have a 26 foot 1975 Argosy with twin beds.

Also the "G" is incorrect.

Andy

You'll need to buy parts for a 1975 Chevy P-30 chassis. If you say Argosy at the parts store, they'll look at you funny. Use the chassis VIN if needed. The MH # relates only to the AS/Argosy RV parts.

Thanks 3Dog.
I did provide that information but unfortunately there is more than one caliper repair kit for the '75 P30 and I was advised by NAPA personnel the that VIN # is the only clear indicator of which version I require.
Surfing online I cannot find the key to unlock my particular model from my VIN numbers.

Give Napa the chassis serial number. That should be what they need to get the right parts for you. Of course, if your Napa is like my Napa, they can't be bothered with trivial things like getting you what you need.

I would give up on Napa too. They are just a bunch of grouchy old men. Find a local independent parts house. Also look to see if there is a part number on your caliper.

Many thanks Andy (and other contributors), you were, of course correct; the 'G' is in fact a 6 - just checking you all were paying attention :-) Cheers

The "C" in your motor home serial number means your coach was made in China.
