Control panel light

Would anyone know if the red light indicators are available for the control panel. The power on and a couple more are burned out on mine. I tried to take out the bulb but it is not removable with out breaking the tiny wires.

Those bulbs are available from parts stocking dealers.

Thanks Andy

Do they come complete with the plastic housing because it is wired with 2 tiny wires the size of a hair. I don't mean the bulbs that light the whole panel

John,

If those are the same ones I have you should be able to get them at an electronics supply house, take the old one with you.

I suspect your bulbs are LED's and you can get those at Radio Shack. You need a soldering iron to remove and replace them. Since they are diodes, there is a right way and wrong way to put them in. Pay attention to which leg is longer when taking the old one out and put the new one in the same way.

On my panel, not only were a few LED's bad, but the logic chip for the gray tank level sensing was bad. Again, it was a Radio Shack item and cheap. Tough to solder all those pins in, but worth it.

power on light

This is Airstream's "power on light" that they have used for many years.

I have a different power on light. Not sure how many years this monitor panel design was used.
