Post Bid Price

Found a 1975 Argosy 26 ft. motorhome local, it has not been used for a year or so. What I am looking at buying it and remodling it plus it needs painted and not sure about the drivetrain . In does run. What I would like to know is a good offering price for it. What is a fixer upper worth??? The other factor right now is the gas cost . Anybody got any thoughts on this?

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your purchase. I would suggest you look at Fred's web page and see what tat has to say about your particular model.

Again good luck and I know you will get plenty of good advice from the very knowledgeable people on this forum.

When you say fixer upper--that can mean many things, what does it seem to need? On observation and with driving it can you tell what systems are ok? Also how is the interior, body, glass, etc. This could be a good deal at the right price, or a bottomless pit that will take way more time and moneyt thatn it is worth. Painting it alone can be expensive unless you do it yourself, then its a matter of time and effort.
Sometimes these older Mohos are way worse or if you are lucky somewhat better than the previous owner thought ( or disclosed)
