Argosy MH 24' lpg tank size?

Anyone know the Lpg tank Size on an 1977 Argosy 24' motorhome?
Mine is too rusty to read the label, and I cant find a size mentioned in the paperwork that came with it.
Its a fixed tank mounted underneath to the frame.

Generally they come in three different sizes:

Small - 20 LB/4.7 gallons (typical BBQ size)
Medium - 30 LB/7.1 gallons
Large - 40 LB/9.4 gallons

Yours could have any of the sizes as the PO may have changed out the originals over time.

Check out this chart, it may help you figure out by proportions which you have. Or post a picture of yours and someone can tell ~

My 77 20' has a 34 pound

I went out and measured it, its about 30 inches long by roughly 14 inches diameter, I'm thinking its around 40 lbs I'll try to get my girlfriend to take a couple pics with her camera

My '77 24' owners manual says 50# standard and 80# optional. It doesn't give measurements.

Thanks everyone, Going by what the genral consensus and the measurements I took, it mosl likely the 50 pounder, now time to call around to see if someone can recertify it, it looks solid, but don't know the condition of the valves and such. I think its empty, the main valve was open when I got it and the PO said he never used the propane systems, he had it for about a year.
