Hi annie - welcome to the forums. Don't know about the proposed reconfigure but it seems like a great idea. The big challenge will be changing plumbing lines and holding tanks around - but with patience and tenacity - anything is possible. Good luck

Post Argosy Makeover

Hi, Annie. Welcome to the forums. It sounds like you've taken on a big job. I'm happy with my rear bath/twin bed configuration but I'd be interested in your progress. Please keep posting

I have not personally heard of that being done, but as stated above it is certainly possible. Once you rip out the old bath, you will find that the lines are asily rerouted to a new location. I would think the hardest part would be shaping a new bathroom setup to fit the curves of your Argosy. I would think though if you have the means to create and/or modify the parts you could make a successful swap to a side split bath set up. Please if you do so, keep us posted with your progress and photos.

I am considering doing the same conversion to my 76' 28' rearbath/lounge. The difficult part will be the "wrap" window installation. I need more space in the bedroom. The side-bath interiors from a trailer would be the easiest way to reto-fit,I would think. I'm looking at mid 70's excella/limited interiors as a lot of them are getting stripped and parts are plentiful in the used market. Depending on the effort/cost involved it may be cheaper/easier to sell and buy a rear lounge/bedroom coach . JOEY

You are going to install your own wrap glass? Interesting.
