Do you not have the factory hydraulic steering damper, from the idler arm to the front cross-member?

Steer Safes don't serve the same function as a steering damper. I'd like to install the Steer Safes on my Argosy but I'm having a hard time justifying the price. They are a bit pricey.

I will research a little more Brad, even the vendor website list them as alternates to hydraulic steering dampers. The difference to me seems to be a damper simply adds resistance to change in steering direction, and the steer safe ties to keep the steering wheels straight, or pull back to straight if there is no input. So one tries to resist change and the other tries to keep straight????

Actually you're right about serving similar purposes. My train of thought was the Steer Safe's tend to force your wheels back to a centered position which the damper doesn't do.

Knock on wood but every flat I've ever had has been on the rear of a vehicle or motorcycle, I dread the day I have a blow out on a front at speed

It is actually illegal for the propane compartment to be locked!
