Dang, this is coming along awesome!

You're already past it, but it's a good thing you did your research with the gasket/rtv for the intake

A good but not perfect intake manifold gasket is what caused the failure of my motorhomes first engine. A previous owner changed the intake manifold, and the gasket wasn't lined up perfectly, and after a few thousand miles it failed and let coolant into the intake.

Anyway, you're doing awesome with this, excited to see how it turns out!

I've researched many services for the Argosy.
It means I had to get the two things, the first one is the mechanism, the other is English.
I can learn both when repair the Argosy!

Anyway, I'm afraid of leaking coolant into the block.
And I don't like leaking oil, so I use rtv everywhere!

A little update.
I'm preparing to install the engine.
Remove rust and grime, then I'll paint the frame, stays and brackets.

I removed headlight brackets.
I'm going to replace headlights because those are very dark sealed beam lamps.
Moreover, I should use headlights which for left-hand traffic.
And I need to replace adjust springs and screws.

With the engine out, this is an excellent time to repair/replace brake lines and refresh the break fluid. Much easier to bleed brakes, due to easy access to master cylinder.

Yes, that's true!
However, I've replaced a master cylinder, calipers, front brake lines/hoses and rear wheel cylinders already.
I'm going to replace the old proportioning valve and rear brake line on this occasion.

Excellent work!! We had a ‘75 Argosy 20’ MH that we restored. It was also green when I purchased it!
I sold it over a year ago, it was a fun project. Here’s the thread:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f463...-mh-42788.html

Good luck!!

Anyway, your Argosy was more green than mine!

I often use some dictionaries which have slang or whatever.

Actually, "dang" is the new word to me.
I think it's a negative word, but I know some negative words stand for positive meanings sometimes.
So I understood it was good meanings!
Because I'm an optimist.

So maybe the challenge here is to throw slang words at Yuki and see how long it takes him to figure them out!

Dang can be used for being upset, being surprised or even being frustrated. It has many different uses. In Rob's case I believe he was possibly surprised.

Brad

Thank you for explaining, Brad!
Slang words are difficult.., however I'll try do my best.
English words have some different meanings so it's useful but confusing.

I remove old paint and rust.
That's a little boring work..

I'm going to do the boring work at the driver side as well.
So I removed a brake booster and a steering gearbox.

It's easy to remove the gearbox, because I've removed and rebuilt that in the past.

I need to remove a lock nut, but I don't want to buy a "pricey" special tool..
Maybe I look for square pipes or make square shape with angle bars, then making a special tool myself.
I get a homework that is how to remove the lock nut.
