Because I thought that I'm not getting any younger

OK, I'll use "young" together with that word next time.

Bibbs
Bibbs,

Thank you for the encouragement!
I am honored to hear that.

My Argosy is like a guinea pig.
I'm going to do trial and error.
Actually, I don't want to get errors...

Yes, that's right! Because I can learn English from many Airstreamers who's like you.
My maintenance and English skills are getting better day by day.

I painted rust diverting agent the front of frame.
It's a little bit viscosity, my painting gun was not be able to spray it so I used a brush.

The rust diverting agent doesn't need to paint top coat, but I do that.
It has a lot of brush marks..

I painted primer surfacer.
The brush marks are staying though.
However it's OK.

This is my new spray gun.
The long nozzle is useful to paint to underneath the floor or frame and narrow place.

The floor is rotted.
I guess water came from wheel-well.
Because it doesn't have an inner fender or good sealing.
Anyway, I need to remove the floor then replace it.

The damage is probably from above not below Yuki.

In the early models there was a gap in the floor between the outer skin and the walls, which by 1977 got closed. Then later a drain tube was fitted to allow water that accumulates from the windows to drain away. This means there was a short period when the units were very susceptible to floor damage as the water runs down the inside of the outer skins and onto the floor.

If you take a look at the Peanut thread you will see the extra drain tubes Brad installed to prevent the damage reoccurring, and I would recommend you do the same.

I agree with Martin. Those windows and windshield can be a major culprit.

Martin,
Thank you for the information!

I didn't think water from the windows!
I'll check the thread, and I should do that if I can.
Thank you.

When replacing subfloor, go with Coos.....never mind; he's in Japan.....go with bamboo!

Yeah it sucks pulling up the flooring to find that. You're not the only one that has happened too.

Tougher to be a cabinetmaker/carpenter, than a mechanic.

Cheers
