'79 Argosy / Airstream 28' Exterior Shell parts?

We just acquired a 79 Airstream Motorhome 28' rear bath that I believe was actually built as an Argosy. It is painted silver, and my research leads me to believe it was a transition time. It is titled as a 80 Airstream.
We have manuals that all say it is a 79 Airstream. It has the steel/metal (?), not aluminum, one-piece front and rear end caps.

This is a project motorhome-a tree fell on it and crushed the rear roadside corner, taking out the roadside rear side window and putting a hole in the aluminum just above that window. (Luckily, none of the bathroom fixtures appear to have been damaged!)

If we keep the motorhome, we need to figure out what to do about the damaged exterior shell. Does anyone have a manual that lists part numbers for the rear cap and rear roadside corner parts for earlier years of Argosy motorhomes? I'm trying to find out if parts from earlier years will work as replacements?

According to the book we have, we need the following parts:

921040 Rear End Shell
101073 Main Bow
100029 Window Trip .040 Aluminum
100062 Window Stiffner - Outer
100745 Stretch Formed Segment-Lower Roadside

We also need a window for the roadside, just in front of the bathroom, but I figure that can be replaced with something other than the actual original part, if and when we get the more difficult skin pieces replaced/fixed somehow.

I've seen a few being parted out and need to know if I'm looking at something that has a chance of working for our repairs.

Any information and/or advise would be welcome!

Honestly, it doesn't matter what it was, though if it is silver it is an Airstream, not an Argosy. The reason it doesn't matter is almost everything on that coach is NLA. Classifieds, junkyard, and handbuilt will be how you get most of your replacements.
SOME body panels are still available, though they will be the aluminum panels.

Our motorhome also has the galvanized steel end caps, which is why I believe it was built as an Argosy, then painted by the factory and sold as an Airstream, when Airstream was starting to sell motor homes. According to the ID number, it was built in Versailles, OH, which is where Argosys were built.
